If you’re down for some Kirby amiibo reprints, Nintendo seems to have you covered. Although amiibo reprints are not super common, over on Nintendo’s CPSIA Certificates of Compliance section on their American support site, we have a few listings that will clue us into some 2022 re-releases.

Breaking this down, it looks like the Kirby amiibo will be from the “Kirby line,” which are the blue-based figures. For Kirby himself, he’s riding on a star, waving with one hand. The Kirby line Meta Knight is also in, but for King Dedede, he’s coming from the Smash line. I know it’s confusing. But again: Kirby line = blue base.

That line was promoted heavily during the release of Kirby: Planet Robobot on 3DS (remember 3DS games?!) six years ago, and in addition to the aforementioned blue base Kirby and Meta Knight figures, it also had a blue base Dedede and Waddle Dee. Perhaps we’ll see more of those at some point. As an aside, one other reprint for 2022 is confirmed: Byleth, of the Smash line.

In any case, this hints at the upcoming amiibo functionality in Forgotten Land, which was just confirmed by a random site listing.

2022 confirmed Kirby amiibo reprints (and others) so far:

  • Kirby (Kirby line)
  • Meta Knight (Kirby line)
  • King Dedede (Smash line)
  • Byleth (Smash line)
