Red Dead Redemption 2 PC specs revealed, pre-purchase available now

Rockstar Games has released the specs for the PC port of their 2018 wild western adventure Red Dead Redemption 2. And hoo boy, video game be getting big y’all. Releasing on November 5, the epic sequel is now available to pre-purchase on the all-new Rockstar Games Launcher.

Anyone pre-purchasing the game before October 22 will get a host of in-game bonuses, their choice of two classic Rockstar games from the following: Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Bully: Scholarship Edition, L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition, Max Payne 3: The Complete Edition.

Anyway, saddle up, here are the minimum and recommend specs for the PC port:

  • OS:  Windows 7 – Service Pack 1 (6.1.7601)
  • Processor:  Intel® Core™ i5-2500K / AMD FX-6300
  • Memory:  8GB
  • Graphics Card:  Nvidia GeForce GTX 770 2GB / AMD Radeon R9 280 3GB
  • HDD Space:  150GB
  • Sound Card:  DirectX compatible

Recommended Specifications:

  • OS:  Windows 10 – April 2018 Update (v1803)
  • Processor:  Intel® Core™ i7-4770K / AMD Ryzen 5 1500X
  • Memory:  12GB
  • Graphics Card:  Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB / AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB
  • HDD Space:  150GB
  • Sound Card:  DirectX compatible

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now on PS4 and Xbox One and launches for PC November 5.
