Bandai Namco will be bringing a “Lite” version of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 to the Nintendo Switch this summer. Similar to the same free-to-play version on Xbox One and PS4, this glorified demo will include five story missions, the “Hero Colosseum” mode, a cut-down version of online battles, and the ability to transfer your save to the full version of the game. Lite users will also be able to play with owners of the full game, which could be very useful with the Switch’s ad-hoc play.

According to Japanese magazine V-Jump, the Lite version will be a limited-time download on the eShop when it launches. I’m not sure what the reason for that is, but you’ll need to download it before it goes away if you want to try out Xenoverse 2 on Switch.
