Square Enix and People Can Fly team up for sci-fi co-op shooter Outriders

Hey look, a new IP!

Bulletstorm was a trip, and People Can Fly’s next shooter, Outriders, is the studio’s “most ambitious” yet. We got our first look at the PC, PS4, and Xbox One project at Square Enix’s E3 2019 conference.

The stream was light on details, but the developer described this as a one- to three-player shooter with drop-in, drop-out co-op in which you’ll create your own Outrider and explore the alien world of Enoch. From prior teasing, we know things have gone bad for Earth and humanity has turned elsewhere.

I’m all about that big-ass alien. Otherwise, not much to go on yet. Launch is set for summer 2020.
