The iPad port of Civilization VI turned out well enough that we’re also getting a miniaturized iPhone version of the enduring strategy game. If you want to give it a test run, the first 60 turns are free.
Aspyr Media is currently charging $23.99 for Civilization VI on iPhone, which sounds pricey until you learn that the normal off-of-sale price will be a full $59.99. Granted, it’s Civ — people will pay. The sale runs until October 16 and the game is compatible with iPhone 7 and newer models running iOS 11.
Civilization VI will also find its way onto Nintendo Switch in mid-November.
