Ghouls ‘n Ghosts, the sequel to the infamous Ghosts ‘n Goblins, is now available for iOS and Android devices.

The mobile version appears to fulfill the standard checklist for mobile ports of classic games: untouched visuals, customizable touch controls, online leaderboards, and achievements. The biggest addition to this version is Casual mode, which adjusts the difficulty to account for the pick-up-and-play nature of mobile. For the purists out there, don’t worry, the original difficulty is still present as its own mode.

To celebrate the launch, Capcom is selling the game at $0.99 for a limited time, after which the price will go up to $1.99. You can purchase Ghouls ‘n Ghosts on iOS here, and on Android here.

Given Ghosts ‘n Goblins was released on mobile devices less than two months before Ghouls ‘n Ghosts, as well as two mobile exclusive entries, it’s likely we’ll see Super Ghouls ‘n Ghosts arrive before the year is over.
