Doom’s getting a PS4 Pro and Xbox One X patch

4K support coming March 29

Doom is calling my name and I’m tempted to play through the whole thing again. id Software plans to roll out an update for Xbox One X and PlayStation 4 Pro tomorrow that enables 4K support.

This video is about it for details, so we’ll have to wait until the patch is live to know more.

Doom is the type of game I could see myself revisiting every few years without ever truly growing tired of it — the general feel and speed of shooting and bounding through the levels is that good. I wonder if replaying it will make the wait for a sequel easier or harder. Only one way to find out.
