According to the latest trailer, you’ll play as a teenage girl spending the night with her friends on an island where radio stations that don’t really exist can be heard. This all takes place a year after her (I assume) brother died.
I can’t help but get vibes of Stephen King’s It, mixed with adventure films like The Goonies while watching the trailer. Oxenfree releases in just a few short months for Xbox One and PC in January of 2016.
