Lately, my background noise of choice for work has been the ocean. There are enough recordings available that you can afford to get real picky, real fast. I like the sound of distant waves crashing, not that distracting up-close sloshing. The occasional stormy ambiance is nice, too.

But I’m going to burn out on this stuff before long. I can feel it.

Convenient timing, then, that the Halo 5: Guardians soundtrack is streamable via SoundCloud this week ahead of its paid release (iTunes, Amazon, etc.) on October 30, 2015.
