We already knew how aggressive Sony has been with their heist of Call of Duty from Microsoft’s clutches, with the new DLC timed exclusivity deal and an enhanced presence in the eSports arena, but Sony is going the extra mile for this franchise in Japan.

In fact, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia will publish the game in that region on PS3 and PS4, taking over Activision’s usual duties — similar to what they did with Destiny. In the past, Square Enix has handled this (as they tend to do for many western games). It is unknown who is handling the PC edition in Japan.
