Final Fantasy XV’s countdown led to…Moogles?

Alright, alright

Moogles seem to be the universally loved creatures of the Final Fantasy series, and they’re making their way into yet another mainline game.

After their commanding appearance in the latest expansion for Final Fantasy XIV, those adorable little things are confirmed for XV as “Lucky Items.” You can acquire them for use in the field, where a Moogle might appear to help your crew “out of a tight spot.”

Once a certain follower count has been hit with the official Final Fantasy Twitter accounts they’ll show off a video of what this mechanic actually entails, but it’s nice to know they’ll have a more active role.
