Keiji Inafune still loves robots, talks about ReCore

The humans are dead

“Robots play a very important role in this adventure, and there will be many more robots that will lead to a rich experience.”

Okay, Inafune, we get it. Newly announced ReCore is your third (3rd!) Not-Mega-Man game. It’s just that this one takes place at the end of humanity. Creators Keiji Inafune and Mark Pacini had a brief chat over the E3 trailer, revealing nothing that couldn’t otherwise be gleaned (stick the good blue ball in other robots to swap your homies’ body, take bad red balls out of other robots).

Suppose one interesting tidbit is that live sandstorms will alter the map during gameplay. Year of the sandstorm!
