Paper Mario: Color Splash draws ire of Nintendo fans, looks alright

Recommended Videos

As I talked about yesterday, Paper Mario: Color Splash hasn’t been very well received by the Nintendo community. You all shared your own reasons, and Nintendo’s YouTube channel currently has more dislikes than likes on both showcase videos. A lot of the complaints stem from the lack of partners from the classic series, the battle system, and the adherence to stickers.

But there’s good news — Nintendo showed off nearly 40 minutes of gameplay yesterday, so you can watch it below (along with the trailer) and decide for yourself. I mean, I didn’t hate Sticker Star so I probably won’t hate this — but I do agree a real Paper Mario would have been more ideal.
