Konami’s website has the first indications of Metal Gear Solid continuing without series creator Hideo Kojima.
This note from Konami confirms Kojima will “remain involved throughout” Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Pain’s September release. Additionally, Konami “will continue to develop and distribute top-quality content in the METAL GEAR series.”
“As the next step in the series, KONAMI has already resolved to develop a new ‘METAL GEAR’ title.”
The company is currently hiring “for main staff to lead the development.”
