As of today, you can play Saints Row IV on Xbox One via backward compatibility.
This was to be expected, considering the absurd open-world title is a part of April’s excellent Games with Gold lineup (and Xbox 360 games featured in the program are also supposed to be playable on Xbox One), but good to know all the same. The early timing is appreciated.
If you don’t own a copy yet, note that Saints Row IV will be offered to Xbox Live Gold subscribers from April 16 – 30, 2016. I don’t want you to miss a thing.
