Check out a playthrough of the unreleased Wii, PS3, and 360 Bonk game

I have fond memories of this franchise

Once upon a time, where was a Bonk game planned for WiiWare, XBLA and the PSN called Bonk: Brink of Extinction. Hudson Soft decided to scrap development when the 2011 earthquake and tsunami hit Japan, presumably because the game actually involved a natural disaster.

Claiming to have obtained it through an “anonymous source,” YouTube user “Bonk Brink” has some playthrough proof of the lost game. I’m…really digging this footage. I used to play Bonk as a child, and would have loved this revival. Sad times.

My favorite Bonk memory probably involves watching it on the game show Nick Arcade.
