Anything can happen at E3 — until information is leaked and publishers confirm that certain things will not happen.
Much like many exciting new projects this year from Microsoft, Konami producer Ken-ichiro Imaizumi has come out of the woodwork and confirmed this morning that Metal Gear Rising 2 will not be shown at E3. Many suspected that it would be a potential candidate for Platinum Games’ new project, but alas, it’s not to be.
Metal Gear Rising fans are seemingly excited at the idea of a new game at every turn. Hell, all it takes is a special kind of font to get people interested. Maybe we’ll get a sequel someday? I hope so, as it’s still one of the best action games of the past five years.
