The classic 1988 computer role-playing game, Wasteland, will be available once again for you to purchase starting right now, to play on your modern computers from Steam and GOG.com. inXile, the studio working on Wasteland 2, is responsible for the game being made available, and backers of the Wasteland 2 Kickstarter will be getting a copy of the original game for free today.

The early beta for Wasteland 2 will be available to backers soon, once they finished putting some polish on it. You can follow @Wasteland2Beta on Twitter if you want to get updates on when you’ll be able get into the action.

As a bonus treat, the inXile team let Miracle of Sound create a song based on Wasteland 2, and you can hear it in the video at the top of this article.
