We could’ve had Binding of Isaac poop hats in Team Fortress 2

Valve went with horns instead

When I clicked on this blog post for The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, my eyes went straight to the second image — specifically, the sobbing Heavy. Love it. Next, they shifted to the Scout wearing a hat that looks like a giant pile of poop. Hah. Then, and only then, did my eyes wander to the paragraph saying these crossover items for Team Fortress 2 didn’t make the cut.

Rather, folks who pre-order The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth on Steam will get Brimstone Horns to wear in TF2, not any of that aforementioned stuff. “Skatole was a big front runner but in the end [Valve] didn’t really want everyone running around with a wet dump on their heads.”

Probably for the best. The blog post also has a handful of new Rebirth screenshots, including a couple that show another grotesque boss I don’t want anything to do with.

A quicky [Binding of Isaac]
