Dragon’s Crown shows off the wily Wizard

Only the Amazon trailer remains

Recommended Videos

So far in the world of Dragon’s Crown, we’ve seen footage of the Elf, Sorceress, and the Warrior and Dwarf. Today, we’re one step closer to seeing everyone in action, as the Wizard (who may or may not be related to Magus) makes his debut — only the Amazon is left.

He seems to be a jack of all trades strictly in terms of the diversity of offense, sacrificing mobility and defensive capabilities for attack spells of all types. He has at least one homing attack (which can be used in the air to play keep-away), massive AOE spells, and if you look very closely at 0:23, he might have the ability to summon minions. I like how he’s reading all his incantations from his book — if he has to remain stationary for more powerful attacks, he may be the very definition of a glass cannon.

Also, as we all know, I called dibs close to launch!
