Capcom Arcade Cabinet coming to Xbox 360 and PS3

Collection of 30 arcade classics teased

Capcom is, yet again, producing a collection of their old arcade games. The publisher announced today Capcom Arcade Cabinet, a package of 30 arcade titles coming as a downloadable release for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, along with a teaser image to help fans guess at which games will be included. They promise more information will be forthcoming on February 7th.

Nobody knows how to repackage content like Capcom does. They had the Capcom Classics Collection in the last console generation. The one before that saw the release of Capcom Generations. And that’s ignoring other standalone re-hashes like Final Fight: Double Impact. I’m probably done buying them unless they come up with a few really tantalizing games which haven’t seen western release, but my money’s on there not being much of anything you couldn’t grab in the exceptional two volumes comprising the Capcom Classics Collection (should you still have a device capable of running it).
