How could you not love these Sega AM2 fighting games?

LOOK AT THAT 702 x 480 resolution!

Sega’s AM2 team are still heroes to me. I wore out buttons on Sega Saturn controllers playing games like Fighting Vipers, Sonic the Fighters, and Virtua Fighter 2, and now I’m set to do the same to PS3 controllers as all three games are available on PSN and XBLA, priced at 400 MSP/$4.99 each. And now they all add new online modes and leaderboards.

I remember how unnecessarily excited I would get seeing Virtua Fighter 2 run in the Saturn’s high-resolution mode. I would tell people that didn’t care that this would be the future of videogaming. This new trailer for the AM2 fighters reminded me of that time.

I’m old and silly.
