Tuesday marked the release of the first Tony Hawk game since the critically panned Shred. (Shred itself being the followup to the equally panned Ride.) While I’ve never been a huge fan of the skateboarding genre myself, I do have fond memories of playing the original back in college with my buddies, and would have loved an opportunity to recapture that feeling once again.
So can this latest game — Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD — recapture the glory days of the most X-treme of the X-treme sports? Unfortunately, it’s looking like “no.”
Still, that hasn’t stopped a few of you from expressing interest in playing tonight, so get after it! If mediocre skating games aren’t your thing, you could always join King Foom for a bit of Worms: Reloaded mayhem! And if neither of those pique your interest… well, just take a look below and see what else we’re playing!
