Battlefield 4’s ‘Levolution’ is such a horrible buzzword

Levolution. It sounds like someone with a lisp trying to say revolution. Well anyway, that’s the marketing buzzword Electronic Arts is pushing like crazy, and while the name is stupid the tech behind it looks cool.

The newest behind-the-scenes video for Battlefield 4 details how the levels are much more part of a player’s experience. Some things you can do including creating new paths by destroying objects, raise road blocks, activate shutter gates, avoid metal detectors, and so on. I particularly like how you can destroy the lights in a room and then take on enemies through your night vision scope.

Stick around till the end of the trailer as the maps from the China Rising expansion pack gets shown off.
