Red Orchestra 2 cuts price in half and adds friend pass

Red Orchestra 2 recently had a free-to-play weekend, and it was wildly successful. The influx of new players was a good start, but Tripwire has decided to do even more to bring players into the game. Red Orchestra 2 is now permanently $19.99 instead of $39.99, and every player will get a friend code they can give away which will allow someone else to try the game for awhile.

Tripwire is still working on improving the game’s performance, of course, through constant patches and updates. Sometimes, they even add new maps and game modes for free. A full-blown expansion set in the Pacific front of WWII called Rising Storm is just one example of what’s in store.
