Compare and contrast Final Fantasy X in SD and HD

Pre-order art book also confirmed

A new SD to HD comparison video has surfaced for Final Fantasy X HD, and it’s worth checking out if you’re interested in picking up the enhanced remake that’s set for the PS3 and Vita later this year. At some points it’s a bit hard to tell where the upgrades are at, but you can really see the difference when the video zooms in on the hair. Square Enix has also confirmed a pre-order art book bonus for a Limited Edition version of X/X-2 on the PS3.

I’m beyond excited for this, since Final Fantasy X is one of my favorite games in the series, despite the flack it may get for a few choice scenes. Considering the fact that I completed the sphere grid and everything there was to do in the original, I’m really glad the International Version is finally coming to the US in the form of this remake, so I can try my hand at crushing Penance — I can’t get enough Final Fantasy superbosses.

Oh, and Final Fantasy X also rocks because my chibi Tidus looks adorable.
