BioWare and Dark Horse are doing more Dragon Age comics

BioWare and Dark Horse announced today that they will be releasing a new three-part comic titled Dragon Age: Those Who Speak with the first issue available August 22nd. The mini-series will follow King Alistair, Varric, and Isabela as they search for information on the fate of Alistair’s father. No specific location has been confirmed other than ‘an empire of evil mages’, which makes me think Tevinter. If you’re a huge fan of the Dragon Age comics, Dragon Age: The Silent Grove will also be released in a hardcover edition starting July 25th.

I haven’t followed a lot of the literature around the BioWare games, or any game for that matter, but I sincerely hope this story turns out better than the last bit of fiction to come from the developer. I may end up picking this up, seeing as it has two of my favorite Dragon Age characters in it, because everything is better with pirates and dwarves.
