Sony waives developer fee for PlayStation Mobile

Offer good through this summer

Recommended Videos

This week, Sony dropped its $99 PlayStation Mobile publisher license fee which strangely feels like business as usual now that the company seems committed to its new fascination with indies. I’m no developer, but as an avid player, I do love the attitude.

PlayStation Mobile might not sound sexy, but it’s one way of getting your game on PlayStation Vita, and you’d be in good company on the handheld. Should you be interested, know that the offer is good through September.

As of late, we’ve seen the occasional neat release out of PS Mobile. Or maybe I’ve merely been paying too much attention to any and all Vita games. With the fee waived, there should be more on the way.
