First team chosen for Dota 2’s The International

Tournament slated for August

Invictus Gaming, the winning team at last year’s The International, has been invited as the first group to compete in the 2013 Dota 2 tournament. The main event is happening August 7-11 in Seattle, Washington. In the more immediate future, however, Valve will unveil the 12 remaining invitees, not counting the qualifiers and wild-card winner.

I can confidently (but not proudly) state that I’ve spent more time watching other folks play Dota 2 than I have gotten personal hands-on time with the game. These Internationals and the build up to the final matches aren’t helping matters. Do you have any dreams of making it as a pro?
