The Gummy Sprite variant is now available in Fortnite Chapter 7, Season 3, and you can power yourself up with this unique variant. The Gummy isn’t a new Sprite in itself. Instead, it’s a special variant applicable to all the existing Sprites. You get an extra ability to use, so let’s find out how to get the variant.

All Gummy Sprite locations in Fortnite Chapter 7, Season 3

Gummy Sprites, just like the Gold variants, spawn in Sprite chests. However, some of them tend to spawn more in specific areas.

  • Gummy Fire Sprite: Found in urban areas of the map.
  • Gummy Earth Sprite: Found more in forests and woods.
  • Gummy Water Sprite: Found more near water bodies.
  • Gummy Duck Sprite: Look in the Epic vaults at Frosted Flats and Sinister Strip.
  • Gummy Demon Sprite: Found in Sprite Chests.
  • Gummy Ghost Sprite: Spawns from chests at night.
  • Gummy Dream Sprite: Found from Storage Chests.
  • Gummy King Sprite: Found from Sprite Chests.
  • Gummy Punk Sprite: Found from Sprite Chests.
  • Gummy Zero Point Sprite: Found from Sprite Chests.

We are yet to know about the odds of packing each Gummy variant. However, I don’t think they’re common, and chances are that they could be rarer than the Golden variant.

How does the Gummy Sprite variant work in Fortnite

The Gummy Sprite version has a bonus ability. It grants you +10% Sprite Dust when you successfully extract a Sprite. The bonus stacks on any additional modifier that might be applicable.

This makes the Gummy Sprite a perfect option if you’re going for Sprite Dust from your raids. That said, I certainly feel that the Golden variant is better. If you’re not finding much luck, you can always trade for the Gummy Sprite variant with another player.
