Visit the Pacific theater of war in Rising Storm

From the developers of Red Orchestra 2

Coming from an eclectic team made up of developers from Tripwire Interactive and community modders, Rising Storm is looking to take Red Orchestra’s style of World War II combat into the Pacific theater with more guns, explosions, and katanas.

So far the game is looking promising, boasting nice features such as a co-op enabled campaign for you and your friends, sporting unique time-period weaponry like the Japanese knee mortar and the devastating American flamethrower. Tripwire has also included some of the most historic battles like Saipan and Iwo Jima.

Tripwire itself is no stranger to modders, as a majority of its team has come from modding communities. One of its most successful projects has been its Red Orchestra series, which began as a mod for Unreal Tournament 2003. Now it’s moving on to more ambitious projects, while trying to remember its roots and empower its community. Personally, I am just looking forward to bum rushing people with katanas.
