Overwatch’s continuously growing collection of big IPs for its collaborations may have just peaked. And in my household, it definitely has. Hello Kitty and Friends cosmetics are coming.
The massively popular Sanrio characters will join the Overwatch roster by way of a set of legendary skins for six heroes, featuring some of the most popular Sanrio characters like Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Pompompurin, and more.
I’ve been indoctrinated into the world of Sanrio by my Hello Kitty-obsessed partner, so this is big news for us, but also for the general gaming public and Sanrio fans everywhere. Sanrio is one of the most lucrative IP there is and will likely bring in big numbers to Overwatch alongside anyone looking to check out the game’s other new content.
The Hello Kitty and Friends collab skins will be available in the in-game store from Feb. 10 to 23 as part of Overwatch’s huge The Reign of Talon overhaul, which adds five new heroes and a lot more next week.

All six Sanrio skins can be seen in the slideshow above (click the arrows to view them all), but they are:

The skins will be available for purchase for a short period of time, so make sure to grab them before they disappear. There will also be additional cosmetics to unlock via challenges, but for the skins, you’ll need to use OW Coins.
