If you haven’t heard of God Mode before, you’d probably surprised to hear that Atlus is publishing a Western third-person shooter. That’s a far cry from the company’s norm of working on obscure Japanese titles and creating delectable role-players like Persona 4 Golden.

Regardless, Atlus appears to be broadening its scope. A collaborative effort between Old School Games and Saber Interactive, God Mode looks to throw hordes of enemies at players when it arrives on PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Arcade and Steam with a $10 price tag in early 2013.
