Mortal Kombat web series coming to Blu-ray this fall

You can watch it in pieces for free online, but this fall you’ll be able to buy the entire web series Mortal Kombat: Legacy on Blu-ray.

Set for a November 8 release, the disc will feature all nine episodes of the Kevin Tancharoen-directed series. Bonuses include a handful of short documentaries including: “Fights,” a look at the series’ Fatalities and how they play in the narrative; “Fan Made,” which looks at Tacharoen’s passion for the fighter; a multi-chapter look at the Mortal Kombat universe called “Expanding the Netherrealm”; “Mysticism,” which explores the powers of the series’ characters; and “Gear,” an excuse to talk about weapons.

Sounds like a packed disc, and you’d better hope it would be considering you can watch the main attraction free of charge on YouTube. It’ll retail for $19.98, and it’s out November 8.
