Time to bash some headcrabs: Black Mesa is now available

Recommended Videos

Black Mesa, the long awaited and long delayed Half-Life fan remake done in the Source engine is now freely available on the developer’s website. Don’t worry, I checked and it’s not a link to a Rick Astley video. I can’t believe it either. The server is taking a serious hit, so I recommend going to Shack News for now.

Since this mod has really become more than “just a mod,” we’ll be posting a full review of the game and maybe even some early impressions later today that should answer questions some of you will have about this ambitious project.

Will it be better than Half-Life or at least a good trip down memory lane? Time to find out!
