E3: Telltale’s Jurassic Park is shaping up nicely

Clever girl.

Yeah, there was no context for that, but how can you mention Jurassic Park and not mention that incredible line?

Being a giant fan of the original 1993 movie and an even bigger fan of Telltale Games, I have been looking forward to Jurassic Park for a long time. And while we have already given you some nice previews of how the game is coming along, I just got a chance to sit down with Telltale and see a new section of the game that has not been seen before.

The scene features one of the main characters exploring “Nedry’s clearing,” the same location from the movie that finds Dennis Nedry’s character dropping the infamous shaving cream can after being attacked by a pack of dilophosauruses. Like the rest of the game, this scene balances a nice dose of puzzle solving and action scenes, all with a very Heavy Rain-like interface. Impressive, scary stuff!

So, yeah, Jurassic Park is looking good! It comes out this fall (no exact release date yet).
