Sony’s E3 site goes online, has space for nine titles

Sony’s E3 site has gone live, and it reveals … not very much of anything at all.

That said, we can be reasonably sure that at least nine games will be shown during the event, due to the spaces in the top right corner. Some of them have already been filled — Ratchet & Clank (All 4 One), Resistance 3, Uncharted 3, Twisted Metal and inFAMOUS 2. That leaves four fresh announcements.

One of these announcements is heavily rumored to be a PS3 remaster of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. Starhawk is sure to be among them, too. We can assume that the nine game titles will not include the NGP, which has its own space.

According to the site, “It just keeps getting better” in Los Angeles, an evolution of the “It only does everything” phrase used to promote the PS3. Seems to indicate that Sony has big plans in the works as far as its Black Box o’ Blu-ray is concerned.

Sony definitely has a daunting task, boasting of its success and upcoming releases in the wake of the PSN breach debacle. Expect the press conference to be full of awkward, self-deprecating jokes.
