Square Enix drops Moon Diver on XBLA today

Square Enix already has digital release Moon Diver up on the PlayStation Network. The Xbox Live Arcade release was dated for later — today. It’s May 4th, which means that we can celebrate both the launch of this game and the opening of a new Qdoba location near my house. Everyone wins! It’s available for download now for 1,200 Microsoft Points, or $15.

As you might have heard, Moon Diver was created by Kopichi Yotsui, the designer behind Strider. You can see the visual ties in these new screenshots, which come from the Xbox 360 version of the game. It looks all slashy and flashy, just the way I like my games. I think I’m going to get a big ol’ burrito and play some Moon Diver today.
