Protesters plan day-long blackout of Modern Warfare 3

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 players, angry at the lack of post-launch support, are planning a day-long blackout of the game in hopes that their concerns will be addressed. The plan was revealed in a Youtube video, along with a detailed list of in-game problems that Infinity Ward need to fix.

“We have been ignored repeatedly when asking for quality post-release fixes to be implemented,” states the manifesto. Such issues include lag compensation, spawn problems, matchmaking issues and LAN settings. Players also want deathstreaks removed, and assault streaks taken out of the support package.

The blackout is scheduled to begin April 20 and will last 24 hours.

Best of luck to them, is all I can say. If they can take out enough players to where Activision and Infinity Ward will actually notice it, I’ll be pretty impressed. So yeah, good luck on that thing!
