Watch this crafty space pirate avoid the cops in Elite: Dangerous

Remember kids, crime doesn't pay. That is unless you find illicit liquor floating in space and decided to slowly sneak into a space station without the cops seeing you. In which case, it very much pays. YouTube user Isinona ...

[NSFW] Onechanbara Z2: Chaos opener & alternate costumes

The problem with having a super "fan service" sort of game is that it can be hard to add more fan service. Like, there are plenty of upskirts in Onechanbara Z2: Chaos' opening cinematic, but when half of your characters are ...

ChAIR is wrapping up Infinity Blade III with its final update next week photo
ChAIR is wrapping up Infinity Blade III with its final update next week
by Jordan Devore

As part of my slowly-get-out-of-bed routine this morning, I glanced at my inbox and was delighted to see an email pop up on my phone about ChAIR. Could this be it? The announcement of another Shadow Complex? We've been waiting years for a follow-up!

Nah. It was just a press release for some more Infinity Blade stuff.

The studio is preparing its final update for Infinity Blade III, a free download dubbed Kingdom Come. It'll hit the App Store on September 4, 2014. There's going to be a new environment, more items and weapons, a dragon -- the usual. ChAIR has also put out a recap of the series, viewable above, with some of this new content featured here and there.

I liked the original Infinity Blade fine, but I'm eager to see this team move on to another project.

Fibbage is a fun digital party game, even if you only have two people photo
Fibbage is a fun digital party game, even if you only have two people
by Chris Carter

I was randomly flipping through my email last week and saw a peculiar Xbox One release -- a little party game called Fibbage. Billed as a "fibbing" party game (the likes of which I'm sure you've seen before), this one has a small twist to it -- it's developed and narrated by the folks at Jackbox Games, the studio responsible for You Don't Know Jack.

It also has a rather unique control method in that all eight players use smart phones, tablets, or PCs to play, so you don't have to rustle up a ton of expensive controllers.

Bandai Namco developing a Pokémon fighting game photo
Bandai Namco developing a Pokémon fighting game
by Kyle MacGregor

The Pokémon Company just announced Pokkén Tournament, a fighting game developed by Bandai Namco and the Tekken team.

The announcement came via livestream, with The Pokémon Company president Tsunekazu Ishihara and Namco's Katsuhiro Harada revealing the title is coming first to Japanese arcades sometime next year.

This must be the "shocking" new Pokémon announcement.

Did You Know Gaming chronicles NES Super Mario secrets

Alright, how much of this Did You Know did you know? How much will you remember when, finally, it's your time to shine at pub trivia, your compatriots waiting for you to swoop in and save the eventing? The mushroom sound effect similarity to the flagpole sound effect? Pretty cool. And that recycled Ocarina of Time theme? I love stories behind iconic sounds.

The Evil Within rocks some recognizable voice talent in this new trailer photo
The Evil Within rocks some recognizable voice talent in this new trailer
by Brittany Vincent

Ever wanted Watchmen's Jackie Earle Haley to taunt you? Now you can with Haley lending his voice as The Evil Within's main antagonist, Ruvik. But he's not the only recognizable celebrity to have climbed aboard The Evil Within's hype train.

Anson Mount (Cullen Bohannon, Hell on Wheels) takes on his very first voice acting role as lead protagonist Sebastian Castellanos, so you'll be hearing quite a bit from him.

And last but not least, Jennifer Carpenter, whom you likely recognize as Dexter Morgan's foul-mouthed and totally badass sister Debra Morgan, is taking on the role of Juli Kidman, Sebastian's partner (and Junior Detective). You'll be able to play as Juli with content released later on in the game's life cycle, so plan on ponying up if you're a big Carpenter fan.

Interesting choices as far as voice talent goes. Me? I'm just glad that we're looking past Nolan North these days.

Atlus shares Persona 4 Ultimax opening cinematic

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax strikes Japan later this week, just about a month ahead of the fighting game's September 30 launch date in North America. Until then, why not check out the title's gorgeous opening cinematic? And maybe find something else to do for a few weeks to while away the time.
