I enjoyed Dragon Age: Inquisition's multiplayer a lot more than I thought I would photo
I enjoyed Dragon Age: Inquisition's multiplayer a lot more than I thought I would
by Chris Carter

There have been rumors of a multiplayer component in Dragon Age: Inquisition for quite a while. BioWare has been keeping things under wraps for months after a small hint of its inclusion, and speculation was rampant as to what exactly it might entail.

After a recent visit to BioWare's offices I had a chance to sit down with the multiplayer extensively, and I found myself slowly becoming addicted as the afternoon went on. In fact, I liked it far more than Mass Effect 3's co-op mode -- so I have high hopes for Inquisition.

See more of Platinum's Legend of Korra game

We're in a great point in technology that 2D properties can be faithfully represented in 3D instead of looking weird and uncanny. Platinum's Legend of Korra game looks pretty neat, even to someone who hasn't watched the...

Ninja Theory made its Hellblade reveal trailer in eight weeks

I almost skipped over this Hellblade developer's diary. Maybe it's a default reaction to games with "hell" (or "blade?" both?) in the title. Forgot this was from Ninja Theory and that, as an enormous fan of Enslaved, I ...

Video tips on how to be a better Dota 2 player photo
Video tips on how to be a better Dota 2 player
by Patrick Hancock

Believe it or not, in all my time spent in Dota 2, I've never played a single solo matchmaking game. I've played plenty of team games, but the anxiety that comes with playing alone with strangers gets to me while playing Dota 2. Well, there's a first time for everything!

Now, the Dota 2 community, along with many others, gets a lot of flak for being "toxic," and sometimes rightfully so. However! In my new "benchwarMMR" video series there will be no anger or blame towards my fellow teammates. My goal is to learn as much as possible from these matches and let everybody in on the lessons I take away.

So join me on an educational journey through the world of competitive Dota 2. And please leave any feedback you have!

PS - MMR stands for Matchmaking Rating. In other words, a number given to a player to "rank" how good they are relative to other players.

Watch this crafty space pirate avoid the cops in Elite: Dangerous

Remember kids, crime doesn't pay. That is unless you find illicit liquor floating in space and decided to slowly sneak into a space station without the cops seeing you. In which case, it very much pays. YouTube user Isinona ...

[NSFW] Onechanbara Z2: Chaos opener & alternate costumes

The problem with having a super "fan service" sort of game is that it can be hard to add more fan service. Like, there are plenty of upskirts in Onechanbara Z2: Chaos' opening cinematic, but when half of your characters are ...

ChAIR is wrapping up Infinity Blade III with its final update next week photo
ChAIR is wrapping up Infinity Blade III with its final update next week
by Jordan Devore

As part of my slowly-get-out-of-bed routine this morning, I glanced at my inbox and was delighted to see an email pop up on my phone about ChAIR. Could this be it? The announcement of another Shadow Complex? We've been waiting years for a follow-up!

Nah. It was just a press release for some more Infinity Blade stuff.

The studio is preparing its final update for Infinity Blade III, a free download dubbed Kingdom Come. It'll hit the App Store on September 4, 2014. There's going to be a new environment, more items and weapons, a dragon -- the usual. ChAIR has also put out a recap of the series, viewable above, with some of this new content featured here and there.

I liked the original Infinity Blade fine, but I'm eager to see this team move on to another project.
