Kitana has a 'Mournful' Jade-based variation in Mortal Kombat X

All of Mortal Kombat X's fighters have three variations that allow for slightly different play styles. A few weeks back, NetherRealm confirmed Jade would not be making it into Mortal Kombat X, but her spirit lives on with Ki...

Get possessive over Gotham in this Batman: Arkham Knight trailer

The upcoming, M-rated end to Rocksteady's Arkham trilogy has a lovely new trailer out today. And this one isn't polished, artsy CG the series is known for. Some well cut in-game footage, a view of the rogues gallery teaming ...

The Evil Within Assignment DLC gets real trailer, release date

All that matters is finding Leslie, but it is still nice to see an actual trailer for The Evil Within's first DLC, The Assignment, after last week's ten seconds of nothing teaser. There is a release date, too. March 10. The ...

Surprise! OlliOlli 2 is coming out next week on PS4 and Vita photo
Surprise! OlliOlli 2 is coming out next week on PS4 and Vita
by Chris Carter

The original OlliOlli managed to charm a large number of the Dtoid staff, and a lot of us were looking forward to the sequel -- we just didn't think it would come this soon.

According to the developer, OlliOlli 2: Welcome to Olliwood will debut next week, March 3, on the PS4 and Vita. You'll be able to experience new ramps, levels, and an expanded combo system that involves manuals and reverts.

Sounds pretty sweet -- I wonder if it will come to PS+ eventually.

Tried to play Frozen Cortex, went Super Saiyan instead

A little backstory: this video of Frozen Cortex is unedited, and shows off a glitch I encountered while playing a custom game online. After changing a handful of rules, we were left with what you see above, characters t...

Xeodrifter rockets to PS4, Xbox One, Vita this spring

Xeodrifter is coming to PS4, Xbox One, and Vita this spring, Renegade Kid announced today. The minimalist "Metroidvania" launched on 3DS and PC late last year, earning high marks from our own Jonathan Holmes, who said it might be the Mutant Mudds developer's "best game yet." The studio also just put out a special edition on Steam, which features a dev diary and soundtrack. Xeodrifter [Steam]

We asked the least cynical man alive about Kanye's new videogame

Kanye West is working on a videogame. Weirder still, this is not Mr. West's first foray into the world of gaming. He is also a playable character in a game called I Won about throwing gold chains at women and turning them in...

Besiege brings its funny, sexual, weird medieval siege engines to Mac and Linux

AT-AT by Poroh I thought Besiege looked good based on the developer-made gifs and videos, but the game's community has elevated the title to new heights with its ingenious, often times so-wrong-they're-right medieval creation...

Shadow of Mordor's newest DLC has you wearing rings and fighting Sauron

Leagues of Uruks fell by your doing in Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor -- just an unacceptable amount of dead orcs, really. Sure, that was gratifying in its own way, but a pile of orcs doesn't carry the same weight as someone...

Mega Man X's Spark Mandrill theme on eight floppy drives sounds awesome
