LEGO considering a Legend of Zelda set

LEGO Cuuso is a site where you can vote on fan-made LEGO sets. With 10,000 votes, a set goes to LEGO for review. It's where Minecraft LEGO set came from. Of course, LEGO can also block a set if it's deemed impractical or ther...

The Metal Gear series brings out the best in cosplay

First we were treated by cosplayer Kelly Jean's amazing Quiet recreation that was so good you had to do a double take to see which one was the real image. Now continuing the Metal Gear Solid V cosplay goodness is RBF, taking ...

Holy crap, Sesame Street Fighter is an actual game now

Remember that wonderful Sesame Street x Street Fighter crossover art series from way back in 2010? Artist gavacho13 made a pretty funny spoof, and now after all this time it's been turned into an actual game. It's not quite a...

This Link Nendoroid is way too cute to handle

Ken and Ryu make out: Videogames turned romance novels

In Valentine's Day spirit Shutterstock tasked an artist with turning some of its stock photos into mock up paintings for videogame romance novels, full of Austen-tatious fonts and a creepy Princess Peach. I'm not sure why, but I guess it's a novel idea. The Duck Hunt one was out of left field, too. Power Couples : Classic Video Games Reimagined as Romance Novels [Shutterstock]

The real life version of the Halo sword kind of sucks

Master arms maker Man at Arms is back, this time taking on the Halo Elite energy sword. The concept looks cool in the game, but it kind of sucks in real life as it's not really practical. Look at how floppy it is! It will still cut a fool, you just got to wiggle it around a little to really get in deep. It'll look cool mounted on a wall or something at least.

16GB iPhone with 'rare' Flappy Bird going for 6 million

You can find all sorts of stuff on eBay. I like finding rare games and seeing if I can get a good deal (I'm currently still trying to snag a copy of Die Hard Arcade for Sega Saturn for under $30) but sometimes some deals just...

GTA V players snatched a car in midair with an airplane

Make your own fun. It's a lesson that we sometimes forget in the glut of linear, Hollywood-style "cinematic" games. I once spent an afternoon among friends in Ultimate Spiderman seeking out the highest building in the game, ...

The sexiest, stupidest, stretchiest Sonic Boom fan art photo
The sexiest, stupidest, stretchiest Sonic Boom fan art

The Mario and company Sonic Boom redesign was great, but it was one of many wondrous fan compositions inspired by the redesign.

Mario and friends get a Sonic Boom redesign too

Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy and Dr. Eggman all just got a major redesign for the new Sonic Boom game. It sure is ... something. Artist Andrew Dickman imagines what Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Peach would look like if they got the same redesign treatment too. There's been some hilarious reactions to what Sega has done with the Sonic franchise all over the net. Post your favorites in the comments below.

Someone's taken over 3,000 pictures of the food in GTA V

Here's something you weren't expecting to see, like, ever. Paul Yan started a blog specifically to capture pictures of food from videogames. In this particular case, he's taken over 3,000 pictures of the food in Grand Theft A...

Breaking Madden's Super Bowl is better than this Sunday's

We approach another manicured, partially tax-exempt-NFL, $9B/year industry football game this Super Bowl Sunday. We'll be lucky to get a sign of life like Richard Sherman's postgame interview two weeks ago. No, it will be a ...

Taylor Swift just might be the ultimate Street Fighter

Ryu's made an illustrious career out of kicking people in the head, but there's a certain pop star that certainly doesn't have a glass jaw. Despite taking seven blows to the chops, Taylor Swift bounces right back like she wasn't even fazed. Remember: these kicks come from a dude that breaks piles of bricks and old cars in his spare time. Taylor's as pro as it gets.

Put away your Pokeflute and go to sleep on a Snorlax

You want a pillow-sized Snorlax plush, right? Our friends at Tomopop have spotted a large Snorlax plush that comes out this June and can easily replace your plain, dingy old pillow. It reminds me a bit of the two or three foo...
