Zynga already attempting to actively ruin Draw Something

Recommended Videos

I must admit: I still play Draw Something, albeit only with the few loyal friends that I have left (thanks Chad!). Like millions of others, most of the people on my friends list flocked to basically anything else, avoiding the game like the plague — some users cited Zynga as the cause.

Well, the saga of Zynga’s evil mobile influence continues, as it’s been a paltry month and a half, and it seems that the real reason for Zynga’s OMGPop acquisition is out on the table: ad spots.

Yes, Zynga has already tested advertising words for KFC, Nike, and Doritos, because in the words of Dan Porter, Zynga’s mobile VP, “People loved to draw the Colonel and bags of Doritos.” The NHL is the first active business to set up shop. You’re all corporate sponsors, folks: you just don’t know it yet. Just think of the possibilities — maybe we can get Mr. Destructoid some love?
