Zombrex coming to U.S. and Europe free of charge

If you’re like me then you’re worried that the Keiji Infune written and directed Zombrex: Dead Rising Sun looks to be exactly the kind of film you’d get your hopes up for being so bad its good and then it turns out to be just bad. You start regretting having spent money on it even if it was just a Netflix rental. Thankfully, that will not occur as Zombrex, a spin off of the Dead Rising games, is coming to America and Europe for free.

While there is no word on which platform the campy horror film with fantastically bad English dubs will be released, we do know how it will be released. Zombrex will trickle out to us over eight episodes. If Capcom follows in the footsteps of recent episodic films like Alan Wake had then we’ll probably be seeing these clips downloadable over at least one console’s online service.

For those Europeans who are just happy to be mentioned in a post you won’t be getting dubs, but instead subtitles in French, Spanish and Italian with English vocals. Sadly there doesn’t seem to be an option for Japanese with any kind of subtitles mentioned, despite the fact that the entire thing was filmed in Japan.
