Yup, Medal of Honor will have a demo

On the subject of Medal of Honor getting a playable demo, executive producer Greg Goodrich told GameTrailers, “We’ll have something out there for people to try and play.” Always nice to hear, but in the case of MoH, it’s even better; many of us have long forgotten about the series.

While modern-day first-person shooters are obviously the hot new thing for the genre these days, Goodrich had a choice quote about why the team at EA Los Angeles wanted to make this type of game:

“We never really sat down and said ‘hey we want to be in Afghanistan, we want to be modern’ — it was just ‘hey this is a story we want to tell and these guys [Tier 1 Operators] are pretty interesting and it’s compelling.”

Medal of Honor should be one of the more interesting releases this fall, that’s for damned sure. Personally, I’m dying to see how similar (or different) the single-player will be from the multiplayer, since DICE is handling the latter.
