Elimination chamber
Nintendo UK have announced that a classic map will be making its return to ink-battler Splatoon 2 this weekend. the perpetually-morphing Shifty Station is back, with a new twist!
Not only will Shifty Station feature its trademark variable layout, complete with moving floors and rotatable platforms, but now the wacky warground will include “containment chambers” that will occasionally encompass areas within the map. Players could end up getting real cosy with their opposition for some up-close-and-personal inking action.
No specific time was offered for when the map will go live, but no doubt it will be made available in time for this weekend’s Splatfest, where players in the U.S. and Europe will engage in colourful combat to determine which came first, The Chicken or The Egg?
