If you fancied checking out the PlayStation 4’s upcoming 6.0 System Update, then you can sign up to be a beta tester, ahead of its eventual release. The registration is currently open to Japanese and North American PS4, though European testing is expected to follow soon.

As of yet, no information is available on what new features or design tweaks update 6.0 might bring to Sony’s black box, but hey, mystery is all part of the fun, I guess. If you want in on the action, you have until July 27 to apply. Applicants must be over 18 years and you must be a PlayStation Plus or PlayStation Now subscriber.

Simply click right here for North America or right here for Japan. Answer a few questions and hopefully you’ll be one of the lucky few selected to try out the new software.
