Finally, a reason to use this life-affirming photo of Ron Perlman

Thank you, Xbox One Upload Studio, for not being conducive to good, readable header images. It’s been four days since Holmes asked our staff to slip this picture of Ron Perlman into a post, and with each passing day I’ve felt greater guilt that it’s gone untouched. That ends now.

With today’s Xbox One update, the console’s video editor can handle up to 15 recorded segments for a final run time of up to 30 minutes. There are more options available, from transitions, title cards, effects, splash screens, and templates to text overlays and voice-overs.

Don’t go overboard with that stuff, but do go overboard with the new green-screen effects.
