North America and 12 other markets

Xbox One launches on November 22 in North America and 12 other markets worldwide, says Microsoft. It will be priced at $500, and will include the new Kinect sensor, a controller, and a headset. We knew it was going to be in November, but now we have a solid date for their next-gen system. Note that this is following the PS4’s launch date of November 15

Aside from our neighbors in Mexico and Canada, UK, our Euro pals in France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, and Spain will also see the same launch date. Australia, Austria, Brazil, and New Zealand too. The rest of you will have to wait until next year. Sad faces for my pals in Netherlands today.

Microsoft says that they’ve added a limited number of Xbox One Day One consoles for pre-order. Get to it, sh*thead scalpers!

In related news, this Xbox One has seen a processor speed jump. They’ve pushed up the CPU from 1.6GHZ to 1.75GHZ, roughly a 10 percent increase in CPU performance.
