Another Xbox One system update, another opportunity to use some insane cartoon image.

Microsoft is rolling out updates for Xbox One Preview Program members in two waves — the first hits today, while the second will arrive next week. Today’s update, which the rest of us will get ~eventually~, adds descriptions to Achievement pop-ups you don’t need waste time loading the slow Achievement app to see that info. Bonus: Microsoft went ahead and made that app faster.

Other enhancements include better troubleshooting for party chat — no more relying on your technologically competent teenager for microphone setup! — and, uh, “Members can more easily discover game hub content from activity feed items.” Never bothered much with that social stuff.
